who is pole daddy?

Pole Daddy started back in 2019. I had just started teaching Pole Fitness at a studio in St Kilda, and was really enjoying it. Having had a background in adult learning I took to it like a fish to water.

It was fun, energizing. And I teaching my students to do things they never thought they would be able to do. At this stage on my journey, I got the nickname Pole Daddy. Cute, accurate and with a subtle gay undertone. Sounds about right.

Fast forward to 2023 and I was randomly accepted into Mr Pole Dance World. I ran into class that night and asked my advanced prep girls 1. What the fuck have I done?! And 2. What am I going to use as my stage name. Pole Daddy they all said.

Competing in Mr Pole Dance was awesome, so much talent, so much skill. I rocked a provocative piece to a metal version of Toxic, wearing a diamanté studded harness and leather-esque briefs. All in all, I did well for my first comp, and, aim to do it again

Fast forward to 2024 (with a major surgery, recovery, a LOT of rehab, moving house, and a fore mentioned pole studio closing its doors), I needed to find something to put my energy into.

and so, pole daddy was born.
